Astro Moderation

A configurable, server-authoritative Roblox moderation system for enforcement, case lookup, investigations, staff permissions and activity reporting.

Overview

Astro Moderation connects enforcement, six-digit case records, player investigations, controlled data inspection, staff activity reporting and optional Discord delivery in one configurable Roblox package. Supported moderation requests are validated by the server, while the included UI gives staff a structured workflow for resolving, confirming and reviewing players.

Astro Moderation is built for experiences that have outgrown disconnected admin commands. A moderator can resolve and confirm a player, choose an approved action, document the decision, receive a six-digit Case ID and later review the same record from a dedicated case workspace. The result is a repeatable staff process instead of a collection of one-off commands.

Four connected workspaces

The Execute workspace handles deliberate player selection, confirmation, reasons, durations and final enforcement. Lookup loads Case IDs and player history with active countdowns and a focused Case Details view. Investigate provides presence-aware join and spectate tools alongside explicitly approved player-data fields. Moderator Statistics gives staff a profile view with lifetime and rolling activity totals. Once a player is confirmed on any of the three player workspaces, that same confirmed identity is available across all three until it is cleared or replaced.

A full case lifecycle

Every enforcement attempt is tied to a six-digit Astro Case ID within the configured product data namespace. Successful records preserve the user, moderator, action, duration, timestamps and reasons needed for later review. Temporary actions can become expired, and the Case ID can be appended to Roblox’s public ban message so an appeal can be matched to the corresponding record.

Designed for real staff structures

Small teams can authorize individual UserIds. Larger experiences can combine group ranks with named permission profiles. Capabilities such as permanent bans, private-reason access, investigation, joining, spectating, player-data lookup and moderator statistics can be granted separately. Temporary ban and mute limits can also differ by role, while protected-user rules add another server-side boundary around sensitive accounts.

Integrates without becoming dependent

Player-data lookup uses an allowlist: developers choose the exact DataStore or leaderstat values that staff may see, and unsupported or oversized values are discarded. Discord delivery is optional and server-only, with selectable moderation events and optional private reasons. A Discord outage does not roll back a successful Roblox action or replace the case record as the authoritative source.

Built around operational safeguards

The interface is only the presentation layer. Authorization, permissions, target protection, reason and duration rules, cooldowns, case access and returned private fields are checked by the server. Duplicate submissions and rapid hostile input are controlled, while startup diagnostics surface common configuration mistakes before staff rely on the panel.

The package supports both focused deployments and broader moderation operations. Bans, chat mutes, investigation, spectating, player-data lookup, moderator statistics and Discord delivery can be disabled independently when a team does not need them.

Release defaults are deliberately safe. No purchaser account is pre-authorized, player-data lookup and Discord delivery remain off until configured, and the webhook field is blank. Built-in debug mode can expose detailed diagnostics during testing, while one master Config switch disables routine Astro Moderation output on both the server and client for production.

Purchase expectations

Astro Moderation is a Roblox model/source package that must be installed, configured and tested by the buyer in their own experience. It does not include a managed moderation service, automatic exploit detection, evidence storage, an appeal website, a Discord bot, custom DataStore migration or guaranteed availability of Roblox and Discord services. Player-data lookup requires the buyer to map approved fields from their own data layout, and structural UI rewrites may require matching controller changes.

The listed feature set describes version 1.0.0 as supplied. Compatibility with heavily customized chat, admin, camera, teleport or data frameworks is not automatic unless specifically documented. Review the requirements and documentation before purchasing. Marketplace refunds and reimbursements are handled under Roblox’s applicable Creator Store policies and any rights required by law.
