Inventory Dial

Reusable radial amount selection for Roblox inventories and stack-based UI.

Overview

Inventory Dial is a lightweight local Roblox UI system for selecting how much of a stacked item to use, consume, move or process. It clones your supplied editable dial template exactly as designed, centers it over the selected GuiObject, smoothly displays the selected amount, automatically adjusts selection steps for large stacks, and exposes a reusable API for custom inventory systems.

Inventory Dial gives Roblox inventory systems a compact way to choose how much of a stacked item should be used without opening a separate quantity window.

The supplied dial UI remains fully editable in Studio. When the selector is opened, the runtime clones that exact template and places the copy over the selected inventory element without changing the template’s configured size, font or text scaling.

Selection behavior automatically becomes less sensitive as stack sizes increase. Small stacks can be selected one item at a time while much larger stacks use larger increments, keeping the dial practical from basic consumables through high-count resources.

The runtime also exposes a reusable local API, allowing the same dial to be bound to normal inventory buttons or opened manually under other UI systems.

Use the complete setup guide for installation, API usage, configuration, stack stepping, template customization, debug tools and troubleshooting.
